Rethink. In the middle of the 80s Martin Koller questioned everything, which until then had been an unwritten law in the branch: why does something natural have to look awful? Why does something beautiful have to be unhealthy? Clichés began to crumble. The new approach: Think about. Think new. Think forward. The more they thought about the new line, the more fun they had with the development. The name of the new footwear was obvious: Think! shoes for people who think. Big ideas from a small city. The development of Think! lies in a wide variety of hands. New concepts have to be drawn up, innovative materials found, special soles designed for each shoe, the quality has to be checked and much more besides. With this in mind it is important for us to get away from our peaceful and idyllic village setting once in a while and let our creativity grow in places which foster the imagination. Browsing in flea markets, strolling along the boulevards, observing nature's organic forms or simply noting ideas on a serviette in a café. Here we also work together with several freelance designers who provide us with new design ideas, create design samples and give us out of the ordinary food for thought where materials are concerned. That's what makes each and every piece of Think! footwear so unique. A small piece of free spirit for the ways we walk. I would not consider wearing anything but Think footwear. Freedom of movement
The human foot and its natural walking movement determine the shape of our
shoes. Because when it comes to health, we know no compromise. In Think! shoes
your feet get the freedom where they need it and the support where it is
necessary. But we also demand freedom for our design, because healthy and
natural doesn't have to look outdated. Bold accessories, unusual cuts and
creative ideas make Think! so extraordinary.
For a soft and gentle step. The specially developed cork footbeds feature a latex foam and microcell inlay. The benefits: the shoe is lighter, the impact has optimum shock absorption. The cork/latex shell stabilizes perfectly with the tapered out base. An air cushion in the sole gives you additional shock absorption and prevents sliding on impact. This integrates all the desired springing and shock absorption properties - and they're invisible. Think Shoes are the best.
Feet-oriented. The walking movement means that the human foot needs a certain amount of space. And rightly so. We take this additional measurement into account in the lasts we use for our models, ensuring that dimensions are anatomically correct. And the asymmetric shape gives your toes plenty of room maneuver. Integrated cushioning enhances comfort, supporting your feet whenever they move, without restricting them.
Heart and sole. Think! footbeds are designed according to orthopedic guidelines and made from natural materials. And they are easily replaceable. Because it's healthier and more hygienic if you replace your footbeds at regular intervals. Plus: orthopedic insoles are no trouble whatsoever. `11`
Naturally soft. Our
genuine natural latex soles act as
shock and noise absorbers. Jolts to the spine and joints are absorbed, walking
is silent. The natural latex soles are shaped in line with the foot and give a
natural and super soft rolling motion. And they are lasting too - what you would
expect from a truly natural product. Some product groups feature special,
anti-slip PU material which is integrated to give a better grip on slippery
surfaces.
Powers of heeling.
A balanced life. The heels on footwear must not exceed a certain height if they are to ease the heel-to-toe rolling motion of the foot. This
is where they are healthy and increase your comfort when walking. Think! shoes
